One day, a kangaroo named Bartholomew was out in the grassy fields, practicing his lines for the play that he was in. He was a famous actor worldwide! Suddenly, he heard a noise coming from the distance. It sounded like an animal rustling around. Bartholomew went out to search for what the noise was. Once he went off to find this suspicious sound, he heard a high pitched squeal and something wiggling around under his foot! “Ouch! Ouch! Oouuuchh!!” Said the mysterious figure. Bartholomew jumped back, and looked around the grassy fields. There was a small, white mouse. Bartholomew said to the mouse, “are you okay? What are you doing out here in this hot grassy field?” The mouse shook his head and stared blankly at Bartholomew, rubbed his eyes, and looked back. “Are you THE Bartholomew??” The kangaroo nodded, and the white mouse looked stunned. “You’re famous around here! Hey, I heard that you’re great at acting. Would you like to audition for my movie I’m directing?” Bartholomew nodded his head excitedly. “Alright then, ACT!” The mouse said.
